Install fails
Fix 1: “App not installed” error
Cause: Android 14 install-from-unknown-sources permission. Fix: open Settings → Apps → [Your browser] → Install unknown apps → toggle “Allow from this source”. Retry install.
Fix 2: Download stalls at 50%
Cause: MTN/Telecel data session timeout on long file transfers. Fix: switch to WiFi, OR turn airplane mode on/off to reset the data session. Then retry the APK download.
Fix 3: “Package conflicts with existing”
Cause: you have a different SportyBet APK installed (often from a third-party mirror). Fix: Settings → Apps → SportyBet → Uninstall. Then re-install the official APK from sportybet.com/gh or the Play Store.
App crashes on launch
Fix 4: Clear cached data
Settings → Apps → SportyBet → Storage → Clear cache. (Do NOT click “Clear storage” — that wipes your login). Reopen the app.

Fix 8: “Invalid credentials”
Cause: wrong password, or account suspended. Fix: tap “Forgot password” to reset via OTP. If reset succeeds but login still fails, the account may be suspended — contact support.
Fix 9: “Account locked”
Cause: too many failed login attempts. Fix: wait 30 minutes. The lock auto-releases. Then reset password if needed.
